Person working on their to-do list

Too little time, too much to do

Our tasks will only seem to be more complex, and we will always have more to do.

We can spend all day chomping away at our task list, and tomorrow it will be full again. Overflowing even. It’s the nature of life and being a business owner.

Eventually there will come a time when we are overwhelmed. We can’t get it all done.

When our business reaches this point, we are left we two choices. Stop all growth, become stagnant, and eventually die OR start to outsource small things by getting help.

Sometimes help comes in the form of family members. Other times it comes from hiring a VA or even an employee. And it’s not without its own challenges.

There is a sweet spot that can be a compromise. Outsource the tasks you hate the most. Remember you are the boss. Choose what you want from yourself and business. Then fill in the holes with people who are good at the things you really stink at.

A task list can save a little mind power. But it’s unlikely to save you in the long game.

Today, everyone turns to AI as their third hand. And maybe this would work for simple tasks in your business. Basic social media post ideas. Ideally, not the post content itself. Sacrificing quality. But the price might be just right.

If you don’t want AI, you need people. Get people who have strengths to combat your weaknesses.

It’s your business. Are you tied to it like a ball and chain, stuck relentlessly working forever OR are you ready to outsource a little and free your mind, time, and sanity?
